XYO Protocol
Payloads and bound witnesses.
The data and signing primitives GeoProof is built on. GeoProof defines the schemas; it does not reinvent the cryptography.
Ecosystem
Who builds what, who owns what, and where it lives.
Pieces of Oxyon have appeared for a long time as separate things — WinLEW experiments, XL1 tools, a wallet, Geo projects, verification systems, messaging. This page is where they connect.
Oxyon builds. WinLEW rewards.
WinLEW
WinLEW is a participation-first community, launched in 2024, with its own token, its own people and its own history. It is where much of Oxyon's technology was first built and tested by real people: community proofs, a card game that can't be faked, a marketplace, block producers.
WinLEW is not absorbed into Oxyon, and it is not Oxyon's token. It stays the community, the economy and the place new proof types meet real use first. Oxyon becomes the long-term home of the technology underneath — the protocol, the products, the infrastructure.
Some Oxyon products live on WinLEW today — GeoHackers, CryptoSpades, the XL1 Control Center — because that is where their users are. They keep working there. Their technology is documented here.
What Oxyon builds on
Oxyon builds on technology made by others. Using it does not mean owning it.
Payloads and bound witnesses.
The data and signing primitives GeoProof is built on. GeoProof defines the schemas; it does not reinvent the cryptography.
The public chain for anchoring.
A blockchain where Oxyon anchors proof batches, carries wallet messages and runs block producers.
GeoProof records are XYO payloads in XYO bound witnesses; GeoProof defines the schemas and verification rules, not the cryptography. XYO Layer One is the chain Oxyon anchors to, sends wallet messages over, and helps run as a block producer. Oxyon Wallet also works with Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Base and Solana, and resolves ENS and Unstoppable Domains names.
How we got here
A participation-first community. It keeps running into impersonation, forgery and misplaced trust.
Early GeoAgora builds: listings, ownership, wallet connections.
GeoWallet ships as a browser extension. GeoJustice starts preserving evidence about XYO contracts. GeoPresence builds a private-by-design check-in layer.
The pieces get a parent and a belief: every decision deserves evidence. The Seven Laws are written. GeoAgora's full marketplace goes live for the WinLEW community.
The protocol is specified, implemented and signed with Oxyon's company keys. The shared decision format ships; GeoJustice and GeoPresence adopt it. GeoAgora goes back into review.
XL1 block producers run with public telemetry. GeoHackers verifies wallets and records community proofs on XL1.
GeoWallet becomes Oxyon Wallet, with messaging on XL1. oxyon.io shows what was built — and lets you check it.
Where things live
Nothing is being moved for the sake of it. This is where each piece is now, and where its technology is documented.
